The content matter in most O level subjects is limited but, the questioning goes deep and so it is necessary for a teacher to first go trough te syllabus and be aquainted with what is expected from the students. Teacher should be familiar with the terminologies like describe, mention, deduce, calculate, etc that appear in the question paper.
Help students to remember things by creating memory joggers, mnemonics, mindmaps, etc.
It does'nt work to load the students notebooks with notes. Better to give information in points, covering the key areas. Later, while working out question papers, additional information can be given.
